Our Experience with Ochre
Having the functionality of an electronic HR system that allows managers to handle many HR related tasks for their employees directly, rather than relying on an HR department to do this was recognised by us as the best way forward. In late 2012 we recognised we needed to undertake a major uplift in how we managed our people and performance in order to meet our significant growth strategy intentions. With the help of Paul Loof, we introduced a customised version of Ochre into our company. Since then we have continued to build and improve the system that has now become an essential tool to enable our managers and administrators across the country to be highly effective people managers. My HR team are excited about Ochre and can see the great potential that a tool like this has and is the way of the future. In fact one member of our team who had worked in similar companies across Europe commented that he thought Ochre was world class and he had not seen any equivalent in his travels.
